Unreal Engine for Broadcast is an intensive 15-hour course designed to introduce students to how Unreal Engine is used in broadcast environments. This course covers the fundamentals of Unreal Engine, including interface navigation, asset creation, and real-time rendering.

Participants will learn what's involved in creating immersive virtual sets, integrating those sets into live video feeds, and employ advanced techniques such as virtual camera operation. By the end of the course, students will learn what's needed to produce high-quality, real-time broadcast graphics and virtual productions, enhancing the storytelling and visual appeal of live broadcasts.

Instructor: Oscar Carillo

Oscar is a two-time Emmy Award-winning technical artist with working experience with real-time broadcast graphics. Oscar is currently working as an Unreal Engine artist for Fox Sports.

Prerequisite: No experience is necessary, but basic knowledge of Unreal Engine and/or broadcast operations is helpful.
