Richard Robledo is a 20-year veteran of the video game industry, having shipped dozens of titles across the globe on nearly every major gaming platform. He has partnered with many top publishers and licensors over his exciting career, including: Pixar, Disney, The Pokemon Company, Cartoon Network, Mattel, Electronic Arts, Activision, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. Richard is currently the Senior Producer at Big Red Button Entertainment focusing on the development of cutting-edge VR and AR titles.
Working as a full-time game designer allowed Richard to enhance both his artistic and technical abilities. Within a few years, he was leading teams in full productions for major publishers. Richard joined Big Red Button in 2015, and partnered with Niantic, Inc. to develop an ambitious title codenamed “Holo holo”. The world would come to know this project as “Pokemon Go”. While developing PGo, Richard created an original VR concept called “The Arcslinger”. Google signed the project, and after a 6-month development cycle, the game became one of the highest-rated and top-selling titles on Google’s Daydream platform.
In his free time, Richard enjoys spending time with his family, playing games of all types, enjoying movies and musicals, and rooting for the Dodgers.
