UE 210 - Lighting in Unreal Engine

Lighting in Unreal Engine is an intensive 15-hour course focused on providing high quality lighting setups in Unreal Engine. This course covers the fundamentals of lighting in different environments, including interiors, exteriors, night vs. day, characters and mood, and more.

Participants will learn what's involved in creating essential rigs for lighting that evoke mood through properly illuminated characters and settings. Also explored will be advanced techniques for using cameras, lenses, depth of field and other settings for virtual camera operation. By the end of the course, students will learn what's needed to produce high-quality lighting for virtual productions, enhancing the storytelling and visual appeal of their projects.

Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of Unreal Engine.
Equipment needed for this class should include a 2nd monitor, full keyboard and a 3-button mouse with a scroll wheel.)
