Animating in Blender

This 8-week basic-to-intermediate level Blender course will be focused on understanding the fundamentals of animation and how to implement them into Blender. From blocking to polishing their animation pieces, the course will also have students creating poses each week that convey motion or an emotion in order to build their understanding of silhouettes and to push them further.

Students will also be working towards an understanding of Blender's constraints and modifiers so they may leverage them to create a more efficient workflow.

Instructor Andrew DiDomenico has worn many hats during his time at Theory Studios, filling the role of Animator, Technical Director, FX Artist, and most notably as Co-Director for the studios' newest VR title: "Blobkin Blaster". He has contributed to numerous client projects while at Theory Studios, including Chuck E. Cheese, Chimelong, and Sesame Street
