So you have a great idea for a comic book, graphic novel or manga? Intro to Clip Studio Paint is where you begin.

Clip Studio Paint, previously known as Manga Studio, is an industry-leading software for creating Manga, but has since reached far beyond and is now used by many western artists, including renowned comic book artists like Dave Gibbons of "Watchmen" fame. It combines features of more traditional creative applications like Photoshop and Illustrator with cutting-edge tools specifically for comic book creation.

This 15 hour introductory workshop will guide students step by step through the process of creating their own two-four page portfolio comic book sample or pitch. They will also be given insight in how to assemble, create, and publish your own work, and what the industry is looking for.

Christoph Brown is most well-known as the Amazing Etch Man, as seen on KTLA. His company is ETCH U Productions.
