Graphic Novel Workshop

Creating a Graphic Novel

You have a story you want to tell as a graphic novel, but you need more information to do it successfully. Studio Arts has the solution. Creating a Graphic Novel will not only teach you everything you need to launch your story in graphic novel form, but you will also learn how to print, publish and get it to market. More importantly, you'll also learn what NOT to do, as this class is taught by a veteran comics professional with over 20 years of experience in the field.

Since landing his first comics job at nineteen years old, Christian Gossett has drawn for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image and IDW. He was one of the first artists hired to retro-design the Star Wars galaxy in the early nineties. His own graphic novel series, THE RED STAR, has sold over a million units across six languages, is a five time Eisner nominee, and was voted one of the top 100 graphic novels of all time by Wizard magazine. Now he brings his 20 plus years of experience to Studio Arts.

Some of the most successful comic book creators in history could not draw. So don't let that stop you. If you have a story, and you want to tell it as a graphic novel, you'll find out how to do it in Creating a Graphic Novel.
